The Ardennes in Belgium is relatively close to where I live, but the landscape and nature is very different. There are little mountains and some beech trees where a small river runs through. In the area where I live everything is flat and not many beech trees to be found. This makes it very pleasant to spend a shot holiday over there. Special thanks to Theo Bosboom who has shared his favorite area with me so I could visit this place under the right weather conditions since I had little time to do research myself. * Last but not least; I'm (highly) honored in the Nature's Best -Windland Smith and Rice 2011 photo competition as you can see in the awards section on my website.
